I've searched the Sony forum and the FZ owners thread, but found nothing. I cannot get my headphones to work properly, even though they are selected as the current playback device. Although it appears to be working, I can still hear sound from the external speakers.
Also, I apparently "deleted" the external speaker playback device by accident. How can I get that back?
Thanks in advance and let me know if you need more info.![]()

What OS are you running? XP maybe? This is a known issue with XP and the FZ audio driver there is a workaround for it though.

I'm running Vista, but I've just installed the SigmaTel audio driver update in an act of desperation and that appears to have solved my problem. So now whenever I want sound through the headphones, it automatically switches over and I don't have to right click the speaker icon and select it as a playback device anymore.
I apologize if that read as long winded but thanks for your help though. Hopefully this could help others too. -
i am also getting the same problem after installed the the SigmaTel audio ..could any buddy help me thank in advanced
