    Hello,

I just formatted my sister's vaio but do not have the original drivers,i.e. the video driver. The model fo the Vaio is the PCG-813, it's an ancient piece of machinery. Could somoeone link me to a site, where I can dl the video driver? thanks

Wow, you may be beat!! It couldn't even be located on Sonys support site. The comp was there, not the driver you seek. For a computer that old, it's odd that Windows wouldn't have a generic driver that is compatiable. Offhand, you can try:

    1. Locate the model of your video adapter and try to google it to find a download.

    2. E-mail Sony and see if they can't provide you with the driver. I would make the case that it is an old machine, you don't have access to the recovery media, and the driver isn't available on their site.

Try clicking on the "Option 1" and see if it doesn't detect your model.

Edit: If that doesn't work let me know. If it does work. . .let me know. [ ;)]
