From yesterday, I can't turn off my SZ260p from start menu.
When I click 'start' and select 'turn off computer' and 'turn off', computer goes to blue windows logo screen and just saying 'Windows is shutting down...'
And that's all. It does not turned off.
So I should hold my power button to shut off.
(This may harm my hard drive T_T)

I can turn off in windows 'Safe Mode', but not in 'Normal Mode'.
If there's anyone who knows about this shut off problem, please help me.

Yes. It happens to me too if I didn't restart the computer for a little while.
I have to hold the power button to shut off. This is a Windows issue, you can always do a clean install it will work again (for a while .. it will always end up doing it sooner or later)

    Thank you Windows

I always shut down Windows using "force", which shouldn't damage your computer but should force any crashed processes to terminate immediately. To do this, go to Start ==> Run, type "shutdown -f -s -t 00" (without quotes) and hit enter.

*WARNING: Make sure you have saved your work before running this command as Windows will terminate Word/Excel as well (if they are open).

    Works for me everytime!!! :)

P.S. You can also make a shortcut on your desktop to it.

    >Right-click, ==> New ==> Shortcut
    >Type shutdown.exe
    > Click Finish
    > Right click shortcut, and select Properties.
    > Go to Shotcut tab, and change target to "...shutdown.exe -f -s -t 00"
    > If you want click "Browse Icon", and select the Windows Power icon from the list.
    > Click OK and you're done!
