    Help! My Sony Vaio Flip Touch Screen Laptop won't work :(

    I recently purchased a Sony - VAIO Flip 15A 2-in-1 15.5" Touch-Screen Laptop, and I cannot get it to the main Windows 8 home screen. This is what I have done so far.

    I turned on the the laptop, did the registration, connected to the internet.
    From there a "Message Center/ Vaio Care Screen" shows up. When I click "X" a blank black screen appears. After a while, a log-in screen appears. I enter my password, same thing, blank black screen. I tried pressing Windows button, contrast, power on .off (does this laptop never turn off?), same thing. Help!
