Thanks in advance for all your help! I have a Sony Z (VGN Z750D) series that I downgraded to XP using the factory install discs.

I just decided to reformat it and start from scratch today.

After the reformat and install, it hangs when I get to the desktop (just a cursor). It does however start in safe mode with no problem.

I have experienced this before... And I think I had to disable services 1 by 1 using msconfig.

    Any ideas? Thanks again!
