    Hi sorry to bother you guys :(
    My wireless stopped working on my Sony Z13, instinctively i opened up Device manager and uninstalled the drive (this usually fixes the problem). The window popped up asking me if i wanted to delete it as well (i checked that ...because i didn't know better). Now when i scan for new hardware, i get the yellow exclamation mark on the Network Controller.
    I've tried downloading the driver again from the Sony support website and restoring the driver from my recovery disc, but it just says "Device software was not successfully installed". :confused:
    I've tried uninstalling and rebooting, but to no avail.
    Any type of input would be appreciated as i'm stuck without wireless atm.
    Thanks

    Ps. i'm not that good with computers

    Goto Intel® Driver Update Utility in internet explorer (Will only work for IE as far as I know)
    Install the active x, then click the check for updates button again.
    This should give you updates for all your intel devices inc the wireless (Should be a intel 6200 Advanced N)

    Make sure you ~Dont~ update the intel video driver though.

    hi as I posted few days ago some drivers posted by Sony for the z13 are not working, there are 3 ways to reinstall that: first you have to read the documentation coming with your z13 you will find a paper explaining the problem with the wifi thing you have to turn off the wifi button before installing the drivers. If it doesn’t work 2nd solution try getting the driver from the z12. And the last one use your restore DvD’s you made (if you already made ones) or restore default setting with the restore partition (the F10)

    thank you for the fast responses :)
    I'll give these suggestions a try and report back

    @medwes
    When you mean turn off the wifi thing, do you mean both the physical dongle and "SmartWi Connection Utility"?
    Somehow my restore DVD did not work for restoring the drivers :(
