Sorry for my english, first of all.
Today when I finished working with my Vaio, I hit the power button to turn it off and went to do other things. When I came back 5 hours later, I noticed it was hot as hell and still running. It got stuck in the "preparing to hibernate" screen.
Sorry, Im a noob and dont know how to turn it off and restart to see if there is some serious problem or what. But first I want to turn it off because, as I said, it is hot as hell. During that 5 hours the battery wasnt connected but still it didnt shut down for lack of energy/battery.
    Help quick!
P.S: Tried to do a quick search but couldnt find an answer.
    Thanks for your help.

Press the on/off switch and hold it until the computer is off. If that fails, disconnect AC and take out battery. It can not run without juice.
