I seem to know very little about Vaios other than that I find them incredibly appealing. Where to get them? I sure don't know, at least with these specs. I imagine I'll just be going to the Sony Store online.

That said, what models should I be looking for if I want:

    Full HD display
Quad Core Sandy Bridge (possibly fine with dual core)
    Nvidia video

Assuming you want a laptop, the only one that has a 1080p display is the vaio F series. The F series also have a i7 quad and nvidia 540 gt graphics.

Actually, the Vaio SE and the Vaio Z2 also have 1080p screens, but neither comes with a quad-core processor or Nvidia graphics. The only one that meets all three criteria is the Vaio F2, a 16.4" desktop replacement. I own one and would be happy to answer any questions you might have. You should check the video review in my signature, and also see the following thread for some quick fixes to some problems people including myself have had (all can be fixed easily once you know what to do).

You can buy them from the Sony online store, Sony brick-and-mortar stores, Best Buy, or Amazon. I went with the Sony online store because I could configure my own there. No complaints with dealing with the store. They gave me an estimated ship date several weeks out, but actually shipped it quickly; it arrived before the estimated ship date.
