Okay my Vaio Z13gn has 2 major problems that is quite irritating

The first problem is the wireless- for some reason it does not show up on device manager and when it does (sometimes- rarely) it goes off right away. The wireless switch is always on and the bluetooth shows up. Does it mean i have to replace the internal wireless?

The 2nd problem is my 9 and 0 (zero) key does not seem to work. Can I buy replacement keys for them?

    Any input would be great...

    Thank you

If you're still within your return period I suggest you exchange it for another ASAP.

If this is a hardware problem then I would also suggest you return your VAIO to SONY. However, do try a fresh system recovery (from your disk partition or CD's) before you do that. If this is a new laptop, it would be a pity if SONY technicians laid a hand on it so soon!...

Z13gn is old and not likely under warranty. Yes, you can replace the keyboard and yes it sounds like your wireless card needs replaced.

The problem you describe with the wireless is an issue with the connection between the mainboard and the sub board the wifi is plugged into (At least that what it was for me on a Z26gn) this is below the palmrest and sometimes for me pressing on it would get it to work for a while.

You can try pulling the unit apart and reseating this FPC cable
