I will be using it mostly for school, streaming videos, DL music, excessive use of the internet, some games...
I don't want to spend more than $1200...and want something that is light weight and reliable...I have heard good things about sony...I was contemplating the Dell studio XPS, but I have seen too many complaints with them...
let me know what you think whizzo...thanks!

I tried out an SR for about a week, but it wasn't for me. It's a great laptop, but I was looking for something more business-like. It's VERY lightweight and the keyboard is just bliss. The screen was the best I've seen on any laptop and it runs very cool. Battery life was mediocre, I was getting around 2:30-3 hours on power saver and silent mode activated. I'd go Sony over Dell any day.
