Hi,
At the moment im looking to buy a new laptop and have reduced my options to two..a TZ or the SZ4XWN/C, but thats another disscussion!
I understand from all my reading that the Vaios come with A LOT of unwanted software, so will I plan on reinstalling fresh when I get mine. Ive never done anything like this before but i sounds resonably easy considering im a pretty low-tech person!
Is it going to be as simple as reinstalling the OS from the supplied OEM Vista DVD then installing all the drivers+utilities for the relevent model from the Vaio support site?
Many thanks
Tom

Last one is important for driver order installation. -
Download all the drivers from my thread, see sig, and install in the order I've listed.

Thanks for the links guys. I noticed that most of the links refered to the SZ series, how much different is it for the TZ?
