Hey I have had a ton of issues with the reverse touchpad issue and read online that a good solution was installing dell touchpad that has an orientation feature which in theory solves the problem; so of course with little research I downloaded dell touch pad. I have noticed no scrolling feature on my key pad when I click with both buttons I can scroll down however, also it seems to take a while for the unit to notice when I press buttons. Is there anyway I can re set the driver to the original sony one. By the way I am using a Sony Vaio SZ430N with 32 bit Vista Business on it thanks in advance any help is appreciated I am not a computer maven but this machine has been absolute rubbish from the day I bought it slow and riddled with bloatware and an inefficent operating system. P.S. I have tried adjusting the scrolling settings in dell touchpad but nothing shows up when I click on that button.

Uninstall the Dell software, go to Sony's website, download the touchpad drivers for your laptop, and install. Should fix the problem, if not post back.

If I uninstall the driver will I still be able to use my touchpad thats my biggest worry I figure its a better idea to check before doing anything drastic. Wish I followed my own advice earlier.

Yes the touchpad should still work, but without the features. If all fails, there's the keyboard... ;)
