    Hi,

I had problem installing the PCMCIA sound card on my laptop. When I plugged in the card, there was no pop-op message to inform me that a new hardware was being plugged in. Then when I tried to install the driver, I got this error: "Setup is unable to detect a supported product on your system. Please ensure the your product is properly installed before running the setup. Setup will exit." Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

Strange. I have a Audigy 2 ZS Notebook on my Sony SZ94S
and it works fine. Had a few hicups like cracking sound when EAX 4.0 is on but fixed it somehow after spending a while searching on the creative forums.

It should be detected and then ask for drivers. Is it brand new or second hand? Winxp or Vista? Make sure you get the latest drivers from Creatives website and that the PCMCIA port works with other devices.

The sound blaster is second hand and my Sony is with Vista. I've been looking at creative forum but still no help. I wonder what PCMCIA adapter yours is. I've downloaded the latest driver but it is still the same problem.

Hmm try installing this driver. Might not fix the problem thou. Otherwise it may be you have a faulty Audigy 2 ZS if its 2nd hand. See if it works in a 2nd laptop.

I tried to reinstall the driver but still no luck on it. I tried the sound card on other notebook and it works fine. I wonder if the problem is with Vista or with the driver.

I just borrowed my friend's ethernet card and it did not work. I guess the problem is with the driver itself. Have to send it for repair.
