    Hi Guys,

Need some help installing this SanDisk UATA 5000 1.8" SSD drive into my Sony TX Notebook.

After opening the unit up I installed the SSD drive using a ZIF to 50pin IDE converter I purchased from ebay.

The problem is that The CD Rom is not detected when the SSD is plugged in. When the converter is left plugged in the CD Rom is then detected. So it's only when the drive is plugged in using the ribbon cable.

I have looked in BIOS and there is no settings to change. Seems as if there is a conflict of ID's on the drives but I have no idea how to change or check them.

    Any help would be appreciated.
