This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Help me buy a Vaio T170 / T1XP

    Dear all,

    I want to buy a Vaio!
    I live in Portugal, and in here we have the T1XP, for about USD$ 3.400
    Thats too expensive to me.

    People told me, that the T1XP model is basic the same that the T170 sold in the US, and its more cheaper... about USD$ 2.500.

    My problem is that i need a Portuguese Keyboard layout, so can i buy the T170 and order Sony a Portuguese Keyboard if they have them? Does anyone knows? Is there a email or other way to contact Sony about this matter?
    If they don't have it, can i order Sony a T1XP Portuguese Keyboard and fit it in in the T170?

    I would appreciate your help, im in a hurry to buy a new notebook... this is the one i like.
