I'm going to be purchasing a Sony Vaio notebook this week/early next week.
I want portability so I decided on a 14'inch or a 13.3'inch notebook.
These are my choices:

Questions: I am a light gamer. I play Heroes of Newerth, and DOTA time to time. Would GeForce 310M be good enough for Heroes of Newerth?
Also I am looking forward to Starcraft 2. I want to be able to play SC2 with no lag. Will GeForce 310M be good enough?
One last question, 14'inch vs 13.3' is it noticeable? I want to be able to carry around my laptop with decent portability.
Thanks!!!

Physical screen size wise you will probably not notice any huge differences but the 14" screen does have a higher resolution (1600x900 vs 1366x768). With a higher resolution screen you will have more screen space to work with.
The geforce gt 330m is quite a bit better since the geforce 310m is only a entry level card. I would go with the 14" vaio as you will still get the same portability as you would with a 13.3" screen while also having a higher resolution screen plus better graphics card. -
I would go the CW unless you were travelling a lot and needed something more solidly built. The other reason is the CW is quite a bit cheaper and it doesn't get as hot as the S series (if you want to use on your lap).

The S series is a premium machine that weighs less than 2KG, it's very solid and very well made. -
Wow, they S that I felt was extremely hot to touch after being left on for a few hours (idle). It is interesting to know that your one is also cool. I prefer the S to the Z because it feels stronger, but the hardware in teh CW and Z is faster (if you get the i5 and 330GT).
Help me choose a VAIO..in a dilemma
