So I just ordered my SONY VAIO FW Series VGN-FW373J/B

Before it gets here I would love to have the drivers ready to go for a full on wipe and reload! :O

So was wondering if the owners of this laptop can shout out the parts numbers I will need to research to get the drivers, chipset ect.....

Video will prolly be the most easy.

But if anyone already is doing what I am, by all means share the gold :D

thanks for any help yall can be :O

Ok since I cannot play EQ on this laptop, I really now need windows xp pro on it.

I am unsure which drivers for any of these parts I should use.....

I have it down to this.

    AMD- 3650 Driver
    Intel Wireless 5100AGN wi-fi
    Mobile Intel® PM45 Express Chipset

I am still looking up the rest.

If anyone wants to be helpfull enough I will send some cashola their way!

These are entire threads dedicated to getting XP working on the FW (older models I think). Keep looking through the forum.

However, before you do so, have you tried Vista's compatibility settings for the game. I've not come across a game I could't getting working one way or another. Even used the free version of VMware and installed Windows 98 under a virtual machine for one. Vista's not so bad if you give it a chance.

    Cheers,
