    does any one know if this model has GDDR3 or GDDR2?

    I think HP DV2761tx model has DDR3 , but my freind wants to get this Sony and I will buy if this has GDDR3.

    I am personally not interested in Sony laptops so I dont know anything about Sony and I would like to know anything about their service and support , do they provide ok service?

    I am asking this because my Thai student wants it although I've suggested him a couple of ASUS models F8SV(T7500 ,2gb , NV8600GT) and F8P(T7500, 2gb, ATI HD2600).

    so I talked to a few guys in Japan and they do not like Sony service and in many Japanese forums Sony is being loathed.

    But my thai friend wants this Sony model because of its look, but I know he better get a HP or ASUS.

    It is my gift so I can not buy a laptop that I like , I need to buy a model he likes.
