I have a sony vaio. i was doing a system recovery with my battery conected and the laptop conected to the wall. The battery got really hot, i took it out and put it back in when the recovery was done it was at 0% charged, i put it in to charge and it would only get to 4% and it got really hot again after like 30 minutes of charging.

Does anyone no wut it could be? please tell me that my battery did not die!

    Thank you!!!!

Sony has multiple battery recalls. I would guess this may be the problem. Look up your battery with Sony and call them to have it replaced.
