    Help required.

I bought a Sony VAIO Laptop in February (Model VGN-AR21M) with an inbuilt Motion Eye webcam.

I've never been able to get it to work either independently or with programs such as Windows Messenger or Yahoo Messenger.

    Would anyone be:
    a) willing to help me sort it out and
    b) write me an "idiots" guide of how to fix it as my computer knowledge is not the best.

    Thanks,

    AndyF

Not to be rude "dude" but this forum is NOT restricted to gaming notebooks, GPS's and games. This is PRECISELY the place for the type of question posted by the OP.

AndyF, first ignore the "dude" who joined today and after a grand total of ten posts here seems to think he knows what does and does not belong here. Second, you might want to give a bit of detail of what you have actually tried so folks know where to begin. I haven't seen much chatter here on that particular model though. But give it a shot.

    Guys,

Thanks for your welcome and kindness.

My laptop came with Windows XP.

I have had a look through the program folder on my C Drive and although there is a folder that is called "Vaio Camera Capture Utility" I can't get it to open and it doesn't appear via my Start menu.

    Cheers,

    AndyF
