    Help with VGN-SZ650N/C

    I need help with my machine asap. The laptop came with Vista Business and it just crashed recently and I never created the recovery disk for it either. However, the hidden partition still exist. So I decided to install a fresh copy Vista Ultimate and downloaded the drivers from the sony website. For some reason, the drivers won't install and I receive an error saying for Vista only. So now I temporary installed a fresh copy of XP Pro and using the XP compatible drivers on the sony website. I was wondering how can I recover my computer to it's original settings.

    Did you try pressing F2 while booting? It should allow you to recover your system through the hidden partition.

    Pressing F2 activates the BIOS only. It doesn't ask me to reload the system.

    Keep pressing F10 during boot.
