Ok, I think I messed up pretty bad here, I'll try and provide as much detail as possible

First off, I started by uninstalling the Intel wireless software thinking it was just a redundant for the windows wireless tool, big mistake. Now the wireless won't work on the computer at all no matter what I do. I've tried installing the software off the esupport sony website and off intel and neither fix the problem, heres the symptoms:

*Device manager shows that driver software is installed and reporting no problems (Current version is 12.1.0.14)

    * Intel Wifi Diagnostics tool reports the wireless adapter is disabled or uninstalled on the hardware test. It passes the driver test fine though.

*The wireless adapter switch is turned on and the light is green

*Wired connections work just fine, along with everything else.

If you guys need any more info, just let me know, and thank you for the help.

Try uninstalling the driver in Device Manager and then removing the adapter. Then reboot and reinstall the driver.

Ignoring Intel's tool, what does Windows show under Network Connections? Is the adapter enabled?
