I own a Sony Vaio VPCSB190X, and have owned it relatively issue free for over a year. In the last two weeks, however, the webcam has stopped working. When I check in the device manager it is no longer listed as an installed device. Suspecting a bad driver, I checked the Sony support page for this model for the newest drivers. All I could find was a link to the Arcsoft software all of which I reinstalled and updated to no avail.

Frustrated, I spoke with Sony support who told me to do what I already did (which I did again). When that didn't work they asked me to remove the battery and restart. Still no luck. Finally, I bit the bullet and decided to do a clean reinstall of the OS (using Sony recovery). All I got for my efforts was having to reupdate windows and reinstall all of my programs -still no camera! I'm about to give up and buy a webcam on Amazon, but before I do that, does anyone know where I can just find the camera drivers for this model?

    Many thanks
