my screen is wierd, i could turn on the comp and its fine, if i start moving the screen sometime it get flickery and turn dark, if you look closely you could still see the windows, i have to put the screen down and put it to automatic sleep then if i turn it on again it would be fine... is it a driver issues or the hardware???

I encountered this problem for a day a few weeks ago, but since then its gone...it was pretty unusual, the screen flickered quite a bit on battery, sometimes dimmer, sometimes brighter. Since the issue didnt persist past that one day I did not call Sony.

Sounds like hardware, specifically it sounds like the backlight is turning on and off. How long have you had the machine?

No I don't think it's the card. More likely a cable. It sounds like a mechanical issue since it happens when you move the screen. I suggest you contact Sony right away. This should be fixed under warranty.
