Sometimes, when I put my laptop into sleep or hibernation mode and then come to wake it up later, the screen doesn't turn on...

Sometimes, the power button on the side turns from no light/red to green but the screen doesn't turn on. Other times, the power button just stays red/no light...

This doesn't happen all the time, but it's frustrating because I never know when it will happen.

Does anyone know how to fix this, or at least what the problem is?

    Thanks!

There's usually a button or a mechanism that activates whenever your lid goes down so the laptop sleeps, and it could be that it's getting stuck. I would recommend calling Sony to see if they have any quick fixes. Otherwise, you'll have to send it to for repairs.
