My shortcut keys and FN keys are not working at the moment. I have read the install guide and the programmable I/O driver is what I need. It doesn't seem to be on the driver download section for my SZ220P.

Could someone post up a link for the download? Or have the driver uploaded somewhere?

Thank you so much in advance. I am loving my little replacement for my 5yrs old Toshiba Satellite

Interesting that the programmable I/O driver isn't listed for the SZ220. And actually the driver does not seem to be listed for any of the SZ2x0 series.

Here's a link from the SZ120, should work with yours...

Well... the problem is this driver HAS to be for the SZ2x0 model

I downloaded the one for SZ23 in HK, and it says "This update is not intended for your model"...

and it says the same thing for the driver in your link(SZ1x0)

I'm mind boggled right now >_<

Thank you for the help though!! I appreciate it.

Interesting, guess they made that driver series specific.

Another option is to see if you can restore the driver from your recovery partition or recovery CDs/DVDs? I don't remember if they allow restore of drivers, I did a C: Partition restore.

    never made a restore disk...

I was planning on getting it from Sony later down the road.

I wonder if a restore will work since I used partition magic and made a secondary drive. I had a HD failure before and ever since then, I have to have a sec. partition.

I really don't understand why the I/O driver is not on there.

Thank you for your help... I ended up doing a system restore on it last night and everything's back to normal.

I guess the lesson learned is: Don't go too delete-happy with the finger :p
