I am wondering if anyone can help me with this super annoying issue.

Like many SZ users, i encountered a slew of issues when I installed vista freshly on my system. I've been able to resolve a number of the problems, but now one remains:

When I plug in a PCMCIA card when my system is on, all of my wi-fi devices turn off... what gives? The bluetooth turns off and the 80211 as well - and the worst thing is I cant resolve the issue unless i restart my computer

So now basically, i need to put in my pcmcia devices before i turn on my computer, and if i am waking from hibernate, forget about it

Please help! I dont know what to do

I had something quirky like that when I tried Vista on mine too. Everytime I plug my broadband wireless card into the PCMCIA slot, my MS slot falls over and nothing can be detected in it. I need to restart to get MS slot back.

In the end, I'm back on XP for now.

Hope a resolution for your issue is less drastic.

Ok - I finally got another PCMCIA card, an Echo Indigo. Sounds great but I am still getting the same problem I was with the audigy- that is, when I plg it in hot, than it doesnt work and my wifi shuts down. So Strange.

I did discover that if I boot with it in already, then everything works fine, and I can even take it out and plug it back in and its all good. So it seems the problem is only when I dont boot with it in, but try to hotplug it after boot.

is there anyone else w/ an SZ that is having problems?

I have an indigo dj soundcard. I have downloaded vista drivers but whenever I insert the card I get BSOD. I haven't been able to find a solution :(
