Hi Everyone,
I'm in the market for the new Z series laptop. This will be my first Sony laptop purchase, so I don't know where the best place to buy is.
Any suggestions? and why you recommend that place?
Thanks!

depends on where you're from, i would recommend sonystyle.com as you can get extra discount with the campus value pack
plus you get the extended warranty if you do.
www.sonystyle.com -
amazon.com or Sonystyle.com

Anyone knows if any american dealer will ship to europe? the american prices are just... sooo much cheaper!
-
1) No On-site warranty for Europe, only 1 year Vaio Care.
2) No 3G. Only EVDO WWAN.
3) When you add the VAT, is quite the same price.
Of course if you want really blu-ray or SSD, that in Europe are not even offered is good way to go. -
US keyboard
UK is offering 3 year warranty at the moment
Shipping + insurance = $$$ -
I did not know this. -
"There is no onsite coverage in Europe, only USA currently".
Too bad eh? I was ready to pull the trigger from them. -

I am looking for a Z in the P1 web page...oh man, how many models!
Do you guys know which of these models are Made in Japan? except the Z591 that it is for sure. -

i've dealt with P1, and think they're a great vendor. unless there's a much better deal out there, i'd go with them everytime.
