    I would hazard a bet that there are reviews for various models right here on notebook review...if not, there are links to reviews on other sites or magazines. You can also go to CNET.com and look up the models you are interested in.

    You might want to see if any are available in brick and mortar stores. First hand experience is usually better.

    There arent many reviews for this (if any). I saw it at a regular store and heres what I think:
    It looks nice, but the white on the lid and accents has a weird contrast with the silver that is the main part of the notebook. It isnt as sturdy as the FE and weighs more, however, it costs around $400 less for a (relatively) similar config.
    Same keyboard, better mouse buttons, similar LCD and hardware components. There is more flex in everything, but there was a similarly configured and priced Toshiba sitting right next to it, and the VAIO was much better. Nice keyboard, quick performance, and unbeatable value, at $900 or so. If you dont mind the 7lb weight, its the best you can get for $900 imo. I recommended it to a friend, and she loves it.
