Help. Problem burning audio cds with SZ680 using Nero.

I've burned 5 audio cds with my SZ680 using Nero 6.6 and also tried nero 7 and 8 all of them ended with the same problem, nero would start burning and it would finish saying "burn process completed successfully", but when I play the cds in my car it play about 1-4 songs successfully then it would stutter and not play anymore, i can't even fast forward or rewind it, I've also tried using windows media player to burn audio cds, but i get the same problem, I then tried burning the same audio disc using my older laptop with the same version of nero and everything would work just fine, i'm thinking its the dvd burner in the sony anyone have the same problem or have found a fix for this?

 

Did you uninstall or upgraded the nero software, if you upgraded it, try reinstalling it by removing old version first.

 

I tried using nero 7 with vista, then formatted my sz using the recovery discs and tried nero 8, then once again did a full format and installed win xp pro but installed nero 6.6, because that is what i use in my other laptop and i still get the same problem.
