    Can anyone help me? I need a new internal hardrive for a sony vaio vgn fw11s, I want a 320gb. I havent got a clue what I'm looking for can anybody help? :confused: :confused: :confused:

    you need to buy a "2,5 inches" hard drive. you may also find it as "laptop or notebook hard drive". Just visit your favorite computer store

    there are 3 "speeds" in hard drives.4200,5400,7200.you are hoing to go for the latter 2:
    if you buy a 7200rpm over a 5400rpm disc it will be faster, noisier (?)and eat more battery, ut the differences are really small.

    I d' suggest you go for 500gb.price differnce is not much.

    the following is a 5400rpm,costing $10 more than most 320, and it's the best at the moment, better and faster than many 7200's
