I should be N/C. But somehow it's not stated on the screen. Just like mine, it only says near the screen, VGN-SZ360P, though it is P/C.

    trauzti...

I recently bought a Sony SZ460N/C and almost threw it against the wall when I saw on my screen that it said SZ460N. Anyways I called Sony and they said that as long as it says /C on the box everything is fine. The /C refers to "Custom."

That's a bit weird, mine has both letters 320CP.

my just gives the model number but does not give the /x /c. If you have the right numbers in the front then it is going to be your machine. the sz4vwn/X that I saw only had the sz4vwn!

remember that some of the machines are produced at different times therefore the standard operating procedures may be different!

but enjoy you new tech toy! and all is good

My SZ360P/C is also missing the /C on the actual computer --- I think it's pretty common and nothing to be concerned about.

I have a TX with the same lettering issue - mine is a VGN-TX3HP/W but next to the screen it just says VGN-TX3HP. I think this isn't a mistake, it's just done differently on different lines and models.

Sony never puts what's after the slash on their notebooks. It's just how it's done. Oh and the C stands for Carbon (i.e. the carbon fibre casing on the SZ450 or SZ470 or what have you)
