I am looking at the sony site and they have a refurbished Sony Vaio AR630 @ bout a grand and retails 1900 . Just wondering if they are good to get I am looking to spend around a grand on a Vaio wt blueray ,good battery life ,fast . Mainly for entertainment purposes and browsing .....any recomendations ? I see the popular model is FW's .

Refurbished unit is fine because most of this unit are return by retailers for simple defects like scratches and there fully check it before they sell it again.

The FW would certainly be a great choice for entertainment and browsing, because the screen is generous. However, the battery life isn't too great.
The AR is really a desktop replacement... only for those who like their notebooks to be big and beautiful IMHO. Battery life on that isn't great either. -

I am pretty sure there's no warranty/ADH on these refurbs.. which is a big negative for me because ya know I break things well before a year =p
