After I downgraded to XP from Vista on my VGN-TZ170, standby mode is no longer enabled (it is greyed out and I can't click on it when faced with options to turn off the computer).

I attempted to go into the control panel and find the hibernation tab under Power Settings, but there was no such tab. Any body recommend any fixes? Thanks.

You need to install the XP compatible GPU driver for those options to be available.
