    Hi all,
I'm in the market for a new laptop and would love to get a sony. Am looking for 14" or 15.4" LCD with higher resolution (14" with 1400x1050 or 15" with 1680). However, after extensive research, i do not see any sony laptops in that category, regardless of price. I'd have go up to a 17" screen for the AR-570 with dual hard drive. Does anyone know why Sony is doing this? I would think that with their nice screens, resolutions higher than 1280x800 would really sell nicely. The 17" is ok, I was really thinking that 15.4" would be a better size for me to carry.

Should I just go buy a Dell instead? *sigh*

    Appreciate your comments/thoughts.
    Thanks,
