    Hinges on Sony laptops?

    On almost all of the Sony laptops, they all have small hinges that look as if they won't be able to hold the screen up. This looks even worse for the giant laptops. Should this be a concern for people interested in Sony laptops? With macbooks, the hinges are a lot bigger.

    MY VAIO hinges never gave me a problem.

    good question. i should've asked that before i got my 17 inch VAIO. only had mine for just over a month so can't tell you first hand. hope it holds.

    my dad has a 14" dell laptop and after 14 months of usage, his hinges are really loose.

    Off topic, but dells all seem to be designed to be that way.

    The hinges on my FE are slender and thinner than most other hinges. But it still serves the purpose. No problems at all.

    I've been using a K17 every day for 4 years now. Not a thing wrong with the hinges.
