I'm looking at stuff and it says battery life with extended battery on FW is 1.5-8.0 hours?

8.0hours on such a big machine?

Well, if we're realistic, average those two numbers and we get around 4.0 hours, but still?

Is it just me or do those numbers seem huge for such a big laptop?

Ya thats probably on super power saver mode with ultra low performance, ultra low resolution, and ultra low brightness. At those settings battery life is amazing!

well it can do 2.5 hrs on an standard battery with the T9500 processor and dual lamp screen and dedicated GPU. So for its size it has a very good battery life.
