    http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Graphics-Cards-Benchmark-List.844.0.html

I had the 8400 GT on my FZ and it worked so great..no complaints! (got around 1,000 on 2006 3d mark)

Now I ordered an SR with the ATI card... which according to the charts got around 1,900 3d mark 2006.

Is this some misconception i'm having?? am i reading something wrong? Or is my 13.3 inch SR actually going to graphically outperform my former 15.4 FZ? :D

Are you referring to the benchmark in the link or did you benchmark BOTH cards yourself? If you did it yourself, are you sure that you use the exact same setting?

Actually, you're looking at the 8400m GS, not the GT. The GT outperforms the 3470 according to that chart. Well, at least not in 3dmark 2006, but in 2005 and 2004... not sure what difference that makes, honestly lol.

Yeah, 1000 seems too low for an 8400M GT. You should get at least double that. And you "got" a score of 1900 for the HD 3470? Did you get an SR, or another model with HD 3470 already?

what are you talking about? you make it sound as if you've benchmarked the 3470 on a SR when in fact you're just reading the benchies from notebook check.

I only see one benchmark on the 8400M GT on notebookcheck, and that one has 64MB of RAM. The 2000+ 3DMark06 is for the 256MB version.
