    Hotfix for SZ if you installing your own Windows

    If you have a problem with your computer locking up when you shutdown/restart after Windows reinstallation that means you need to get a hotfix.

    There are 2 ways. You can either call Microsoft to get it (which is a pain) or if someone would be willing to host it somewhere I will send a file a to him (only 500 kb)

    This problem occurs after you reinstall windows? So you install the hotfix before you start the clean install?

    No, install it after you install Windows. Preferably before you try to shut down. :)

    just apply the hotfix(and reboot) before you install the webcam driver and you should be okay (at least it worked for me)
