erm there is no s-video on SZ, unlike the FE series.

So the only way will be a cable VGA to S-Video, and im still not 100% sure if it will work.

Well, it depends on what type of tv you have. My tv is a newer model that has all the inputs I could ever want and could act as a monitor with a VGA connection. (Has DVI, HDMI, components, etc). But the suggestion that a33 gave sounds like a good alternative. I never knew that existed! If you buy it, let me know how it works!

And how do you plan to use these with the SZ? There is no input / output connection in the SZ?

I actually don't plan to use this on my computer since I use the VGA to my tv. But I am curious as to how well it works, just for general knowlege. That's all.

I doubt it will work, since older Sony laptops had this capability and it was mentioned in the specs and the cable was offered as an accessory. In this case I'm sure you'll need an active VGA-to-TV converter... I saw a review of an inexpensive portable one that got its power from USB, but I can't find it right now.
