    Hello All,

Following is the FE21B configuration overview, I can get for £818 (online, not available in stores) :
Intel Core Duo T2300 Processor 1.66GHz
    667 MHz FSB
    2 MB Cache
    1 GB RAM
    80 GB Hard Drive
Super Multi Double Layer DVD RW Drive
    15.4" Widescreen X-black LCD Display
    Microsoft Windows XP Media Center
    256MB nVidia 7400 dedicated graphics
    Includes 1 year warranty

Is this good enought to play most of the latest games (thoug i m not regular gamer) and will this suffice for entertainment needs (playing movies, songs etc) + normal programming (visual studio.net, oracle/web server.. etc)

I am getting similar configuration in Dell inspiron (with ATI Radeon 1300) around £750 - 800.

Please advise, if this will be a good grab.. or is there any reason providing such a big discounts on Sony FE series.
How good is support for Sony notebooks?

The 7400 GPU will not play the current gen of games on high settings but it can run them with reduced eye candy. A year or so down the pike, however, it will struggle.
