    Hello

I have a Vaio PCG-TR5MP and I watch movies using WMP or VLC Player.

I've been unable to find where I can disable the volume limitation software that seems to be active (AVLS) it sets the volume so low for a few seconds after what it feels is a loud noise, so bad that it ruins the films.

Can anyone please help me turn this 'feature' off, wherever it is hiding...

    Hi there,

    I use:

    TFM Audio Filter

...to adjust all of my media file volume issues. It is an old program, but appears to work well in Vista, only leaving the tray icon in the taskbar when the media file is closed. Highlighting the icon in the taskbar makes it disapear from from the taskbar if the media file isn't in use.

Let me know if it works for you.

    QLN.
