    How can I find a part number for t140p flat cable for touchpad?

    Hi - Does anybody have a clue how to find a part number for Vaio PCG-T140P. I think the only thing wrong with the touchpad is the flat cable end, and I tried scratching it but its not uniform end..

    Sure. Email Parts & Services with their Accesory/Parts Request Form. They'll get back to you within 2-4 days with the part number. You then take that number and use the search box (top right hand corner). If found you'll be taken to the parts page and allowed to put it into your cart for purchase.

    You can also request the part number for your Service Manual. It lists (all) the parts in your notebook so you can do the research yourself. (It's a very useful document to have)
