Hey guys. I tried looking around the forum and couldn't find anything.
I'm having a hard time installing Windows 7 x64 on Vaio TT.
It says " On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks."
Is there a workaround?
Any pointers are much appreciated.

I had no problems installing W7 64bit. You probably need to upgrade your BIOS but it won't support EFI but it best to do this if you want everything working as it should do.
I upgraded my BIOS to the most recent one and then installed all the TT4 drivers on the EU website.

I also used a retail disc as opposed to the Sony upgrade disc.
If you want to be sure of the order you should install W7 follow this guide as the drivers are laid out in the following link.

BTW, how did you get a white TT? When I was buying mine, i called sonystyle and they said white weren't being made at all (so i ended up with carbon) -

I bought it of someone who bought it from Hong Kong and then changed their mind. I only wanted a white one so was so glad when i found it. It was like new and came with a receipt. It also came as standard with a US keyboard and UK plug which was good for me.
I (well not me i got a tech to do it) carried out a few upgrades to it like adding in the HDMI, WWAN and SSD.
The white one is really nice.
I suppose you could have got a white one from Conics.
