I have a question for you guys & gals about batteries.

The battery in the Dell and Sony from my sig died on me about one year and a month after buying the notebooks. The Dell I’m not to worried about cause I never take it anywhere but the VAIO goes all over the place so I need a new one. I’ve been looking all over the place and have narrowed it down to a few eBay sellers. Anything under 150 bucks is out since they are fake but how do you know if the expensive ones are real?
I did searches for fake notebook battery guides but can’t find a good one.
Anyone have info that might help? The batteries from the Dell and VAIO are not part of a recall.

Also, is it just me or are notebook batteries only made to last a year now? I have four other notebooks that are much older and their batteries lasted much longer.

If I can’t find a good guide I’ll purchase from mwave for $173 total. Anyone know a trusted place for cheaper?
