Hello. I am not in any kind interrested of using Windows 8 (or any windows) and would like to know how i can boot into UEFI and choose an other bootable media (usb-pen drive) to get able to install anything usable on this device?

    I tried already F1, F2, ESC, F11, F12, DEL

Because UEFI is so fast to boot, there is no time to hit any of those buttons in time. To get into the boot menu (and UEFI options), press the assist button when the unit is completely off.

THANKS! I was able to turn there also SecureBoot off.

But the information with "UEFI is too fast" is not realy correct. I have tested some Z68 and some Z77 Mainboards from different manufacorers and all had UEFI and all was able to use normal keys while boot.

Hello, I'm very curious if you succeeded installing gentoo or any other linux distro in this notebook.
    Did the touch screen worked?

I send this stupid thing back!
It had no mice btw. trackpoint!!! This thing in the middle is an unusable touchpad in micro-size and not a trackpoint!!! Its totaly unusable!!!! That sony can build in the same size an correct trackpoint they have shown in the Sony Vaio P11S. Looks same, have same size! The Vaio Duo have NO USABLE MICE - useless part of hardware for me!!!

I did not want to use the touchscreen of this device. Just want to use it as a notebook. But it was unusable because of a missing mouse! So i never care about if the touchscreen is supported in linux or not.

The device is nearly same looking like my old Acer C200 and C210 i owned before my recent Sony Vaio P11S.
