Ive read how numerous people have had their LCD go out and stop working anywhere from 2 months to a year from buying it. It will flicker from time to time and then eventually get worse. How much of a concern should this be? Cause if the chances are high, I will think twice about keeping my VAIO. From what I was told, Sony LCDs phase out a lot more than other brands. And nobody knows the cause of it.

    thanks
