    How do I get my Sony Vaio Z to switch to external graphics?

    Usually, my sony vaio z will just automatically use the graphics card in the media dock when I plug it in but now when I plug it in I can use all the ports and stuff but I can still see in advanced screen resolution settings that it's using the integrated Intel graphics.

    You should tell us the model - there are a lot of Zs out there. My guess is that you have a VPCZ2, but it would be nice to hear that from you.
