I used the Color Management tool and saved the results, but have come to realize that it's too blue and the factory settings were perfect. How do I restore the factory Color Management settings on an F11 notebook?

    Open Color Mgmt
On Devices tab look at bottom right and
    Click Profiles
Click Reset my settings to the system defaults
    Close

This didn't change anything... I think the tool saved over the system's default settings...

I think you may have previously reverted back to the default color profile without realizing it. The default profile is quite blue. You probably changed your settings and didn't realize that they were not saved properly and then when you rebooted they probably changed back without you realizing it until the blue started getting to you. I've changed my profile every way that I can find possible in the color management tool and the above steps set it back to default every time. Can you tell me what the name of the profile is that is listed as your default after the above steps?

Last Edit: I asked you some questions in previous edits to this post, but just see my next post.

Well, I have to leave my house so I will be away from computer for awhile. So, I will list all the steps you would possibly have have to take to get it back to the factory default settings. Do all of these even if you see the change you want before you are finished.

    1. Open Color Mgmt
2 Devices Tab - Profiles associated with this device - look for a profile that starts with "Sony Vaio display profile_" (followed by some numbers). If this profile is not there, click Add and add that profile. Highlight that profile and click Set as Default Profile.
    3. Remove all other ICC profiles on the Devices Tab
    4. Advanced Tab - set Device profile to sRBG virtual device model profile
    5. set Viewing conditions profile to WCS profile for sRGB viewing conditions
    6. Click Change system defaults and repeat steps 2 through 5 in the System Defaults Window.
    7. Still in System Defaults, on the Advanced tab, make sure these are the values for the ICC Rendering fields in Descending order:
Perceptual, Photography, Proofing and line art, proofing simulate paper media/color, charts and graph
    8. Close system defaults
    9. Check the ICC Rendering fields also match the above on the Color Mgmt Advanced tab
    10. Click on Devices tab and verify the "Sony Vaio display profile_" (followed by some numbers) has "(default)" listed after it.
    11. Click Close.
    12. Re-open Color Mgmt. Verify all the above settings have saved. If everything is still listed as above in both the regular Color Mgmt window and the System Defaults Window, your display is the same as it was shipped to you.

If at any point it tells you that you are changing the default settings or something similar just click OK.

Didn't work either; I already had the Sony Vaio display profile_ chosen... I think the tool saved over it...

If you did everything I told you and nothing changed and you already had the Sony display profile, that means you already were running the default profile. There is nothing that could have been saved over anything if you individually set all the options I specified. Those options ARE the factory default profile and default settings. Just to be clear - even if you had previously saved a different profile and settings over the system defaults, if you did exactly what I said above, you are now running the default profile and nothing you previously did could change that. So if your display did not change, that means you were already running the factory default. Like I suggested earlier, you most likely never saved your settings properly when you used the tool originally and you ended up back with the defaults without realizing it.
