    How do i remove keyboard from a vaio VGN-NR10?

    Unscrew the screws on the base of your laptop that hold the keypad in place.
    Pry the plastic sheet(?) above your keypad up, lift the keypad carefully and detatch the ribbon cable *carefully*.

    There should be plenty of guides on this, use google :)

    I dont have any thing above the keyboard its a complete top unit, also there seems to be nothing on my laptop .. thx anyway

    You don't need a guide for your specific laptop. It should still come apart the same :D

    Hi sorted it, all you do is remove the screw from the middle left rear of the laptop then there is 4 clips you push in on the top of the keyboard.. there above the esc key, f5, f11, and delete key. Then lift from the top.

    Thx all if anyone else has troubles i will add photos...
